Just a tip when your installing the mesh.

Don't go crazy with the wire snips. What I mean is the more you over estimate the better you are.

For the front lower I was able to use the existing clips and just bent them very slightly to make a tighter fit, cut out holes where the mesh fits over the tabs (Be carefull not to leave little lips, they will cause bends in the mesh), and wrap the mesh back downward and use the clamps.

The same could be done that way for the rear but due to the fact I trimmed too much I wasn't able to do it that way. I just used rivets a small washer and a very large washer(sort of made an extended) with a small hole cut into the tab. But hopefully you don't have to go that route.

If you guys have any questions, and I chose to paint my ring myself. It took several coats of paint but I like the results.

Good Luck,

The mesh really does give the front end an agressive look. And on top of looking great, it doesn't restrict air flow!

Hey, I have a 99 SE Sport... My question is, I want to have the mesh stuff over the opening on the bottom of my front bumper (the sopening right infront of the A/C condenser unit) along with the oval shaped mesh. Is this what you are selling for SE's?? If not, is there anyone that can point me towards a How-To to make my own oval grill and lower grill too? Thanks! -Nick

99blackse, this is what i am waiting for information on. hopefully one piece 6"X 60" will be enough to do both on the SE's. i don't know anyone who owns one around me so i can't measure it. Xtreme said he would do the research on this one.

By the way. I'm in like there's no tomorrow.

Athough if there was no tomorrow I really wouldn't need the mesh now would I.

Anyways, Put me on the list

For $30 bucks I'll give it a try also. What's involved in taking the oval out of the car?
Paypal sounds good too. smile

I would like to take you up on the SVT kit. I have an ugly mesh in there now. $30 is the "right price".
Let me know who and where to send / Paypal the money.
