Well i have a 99 svt and can anyone tell me if this will bolt over a damaged front bumper. I bought my car and it was already damaged and i have messed up the bottom a little bit backing out of some steep driveways ect. If it will cover the damage then i will get in. I was just going to buy a new front bumper but if it covers then i will try and help you guys out that are trying to get one too.

Without seeing your damage, I would suggest looking at some of the pics of the splitter that are posted on this site to decide if it will do what you require. I have to be honest though, if you frequently scrape your front end now, it probably isn't the best solution for you. It's made of fiberglass. If you think it would serve your needs based on the pics, then jump right in!
We could use all the help we can get at this point. It's a pretty good savings, if we can pull it off...

I just recently got into this but how many have to be ordered before they will be made. I saw a price of 150 in the thread, thats not including paint correct? Also how do you install it? If someone can answer these few questions for me i will probably go for it.

all the answers can be found in the other thread, but here is a quick breakdown

1) we need twenty people for the price break
2) IIRC it attaches using rivets(or equivalent) and doublesided tape...correct me if i am wrong please

anyways, the answers are all in the previous thread

Guys, FYI here are some install pics from mine. Some guys have it molded right to the bumper but I need to be able to take it off. Here's how we did it:

1- Layed some body shop grade double-sided tape on the outside "wings" of the splitter. We also drilled the holes for the brackets at that moment after test-fitting the spoiler to the car.

2- Jacked the front of the car and installed the three supplied brackets.

3- Bolted up the spoiler to the five attachment points.

4- Peeled the double-sided tape backing and applied pressure for a couple minutes

5- Dumped the car back down. You can see how the spoiler extends forward here. Very little clearance with my 3" drop too!! Watch those driveways!

Sorry for the bandwith usage. It just seems there is very little info avaialable on this piece, I tend to think that pictures speak a lot more than words!

That is why it wouldn't last a day here in NJ!! I love to put one but I just don't want to spend $200 and rip it the first time I come out of my pkg lot frown
