The SVR80 roughly is $120 (dont have exact price in front of me at this time)plus shipping (its a beast, about 50+ pounds) You may want to look into the Interstate Spiracell battery (made by Optima for Interstate) I think I can get those a bit cheaper, but I think one of the major part stores had it for $129 (would be close to same with shipping) Also ebay always has yellow/red tops up for around $105.

Do you think this is a good start to put an end to the dimming lights syndrome I figure its about time for a new battery and its probably a good place to start. That and new connectors. if you can email me with a specific price I may get the SVR battery. Well that is if I can't find anything else similar locally. (Save some cash on shipping) Thanks

have you upgraded the factory ground under your hood? thats the first thing to do. If you have a voltmeter check your voltage make sure it is staying pretty steady (+/- .5v is normal with a large amp, but is should not be more than that with a good install)

Ok thanks for the tip. I'll try and do that when I get some time. There is still so much I want to do Car Audio wise, and performance wise to my car. I just don't seem to have the time or space to do it I'll let you know when I decide to get the battery. I do think I need a new battery since my car is taking a bit longer to crank lately.

If you have a 4ga powerwire from your battery to amps in the trunk and a 4ga ground in the trunk to amps, whats at the battery? Your factory 8/10ga ground. Power starts at the battery (on the ground side technically), adding 4ga in the trunk is useless if it has to pass through 8ga first. It does make a difference.
