Any interest in this item, KnuKonceptz.com will be supplying these 20 volt (24volt surge) 1 farad caps in March. They have the KnuKoceptz logo and have a metalic silver finish.

I had thoughts on getting a cap previously but don't know if I really need it. I was going to get a 1 Farad Monster Intellicap (with LCD voltage readout). It retails for $299 but I can get it for $119. What exactly is the difference if any, between these two?

The difference is the extra $59.00 you pay for Monster's name. There are different types of cap as far as voltage and ESR (the resistence in the cap), other than that they are basically all the same. Our cap will have an ESR <.00198 ohms
A cap is good for quick bursts of power, but over time a large system should really have a second battery.

A second battery made all the difference in my set up! Costco is selling red top Optimas at $100.00.

I can get SVR Audio batteries like the SVR-33 or SVR-28. The 33 is cheaper and less reserve, but is most common. I agree a second battery should be used first then add the cap. Usually though the caps and batteries are around the same price, I know I wont be able to get any battery for this price, Lets see how many are intereseted in the SVR Battery: www.svrbatteries.com

i was getting crazy dimming on my lights when i was bummpin hard w/my 600+ watts... i got a 1farad cap w/out led volts on it n it cost me 140$ iv seen em cheaper then 140$ but 60$!!!!!! you cant beat that !!!!!!

If we can get the 10-12 buyers it will be a go. Payment will need to be received by Feb. 15th and the Caps would then ship roughly the first week in March (at the latest). Shipping is based on zip code and will vary for everyone (cept for you Blitz, you can drive on over  )
