The difference is the extra $59.00 you pay for Monster's name. There are different types of cap as far as voltage and ESR (the resistence in the cap), other than that they are basically all the same. Our cap will have an ESR <.00198 ohms
A cap is good for quick bursts of power, but over time a large system should really have a second battery.
