I had to replace my bumper when a truck rearended the Tour. The bumper is strictly cosmetic. Under the bumper is a black piece that runs the entire length of the cosmetic piece. The black piece could be removed and reinstalled since it is only held on my a couple of metal clips.
FWIW the entire bumper is held on by 2 U bolts and 4 screws. No wonder the bumper sags.

This group buy is ready once I get 15 people. so pass the word out. I want one bad. I am passing the word out. the original svt bumper is plastique. This is more after market. and might have a tiny change to the bumper ( so I wont get a hard time from svt or ford.) I will show pics of what it will look like soon. Right now I am shooting for the 15 people.

It would not be painted. I am not going to take the chance of faded colors. this bumper will be already to paint but not painted.

Since you have to make it a little different than the original SVT FORD OEM bumper, maybe you should make it like taller, as in making it lower to the ground maybe an inch or two..??. Now that would be sweet! I am in for sure for $300. When will production of these begin?
