Once again I'm taking a stab at this. I'm currently discussing with a few companies the possibility of a group buy on a Front End Kit for 98+ Contours that will look extremely similiar to this Saleen one but optimized to match the SVT sideskirts and rear bumper. Unlike the Saleen kit, it will fit without any major modifications. The front of the design will stay very similiar. BASF Urethane or Hand laid fiberglass will most likely be the material used.

We will need 20 pre-orders from individuals who'd be willing to pay for this. Price range will be approximately $400-$500. If the interest is high enough, I will then collect the money and then direct the company to begin work on fitting and manufacturing the kit. I will be providing my car to be the prototype if this happens and I will be buying two kits so we need 18 orders from dedicated buyers. If you're interested, please post here.

If necessary I'll put this off until the beginning of next year as I know the financial constraints that come along with the holiday season.

Look at the Cosworth vents in the hood. Kind of like Stazi's ride.

I believe that someone has spoken with somebody at Saleen and they said something along the lines of that car still being around. But they showed no interest about releasing the kit though.

I might add that if this were to go through, a custom hood would be likely to follow.

those ground effects look pretty aweful in my opinion. they don't flow with the shape of the car at all.

I agree with Baco on this one...I think the ground effects should be more rounded. CONTOURED to the rest of the body if ya get me. I don't like the boxy look on our cars its not a Early 90's honda!

I agree for the most part but the front end is a different story. you could not ask for a nicer front end on a contour minus the saleen vents on the side. I really dislike the sideskirts and rear valence though. But like I said, this only for the front and it will match up well with SVT sideskirts or any new design within reason.
