If so/not why? Also how much would you guys guestimate it would cost?

I was wondering this myself, I think it would look much better if it was molded on there instead of just bolted on. I'll have to ask my body guy after I get it. I hope that you don't have to take the front bumper off but I'd be surprised if you didn't have to.

Depending on where you live, I would not suggest it. This front splitter was developed to be use in racing only. There are two guys on the site that have their molded in and they ride on konis and eibachs and said that the splitter is 2 3/4" off the ground. You can't take curves as sharp if they have curbs and you just have to be more careful where you drive. I am getting a BAT drop and the mirko on mine and I will be approximately 3 1/4" off the ground. It is really up to you but just remember that molding it will be about 400-700 dollars depending on where you go.

Check out this Thread for more info. If you want to see all the pictures of it molded check out the guy that posted first's sig.

I'm having mine molded being that I live in southwest Florida. Shouldn't be that much, I also don't think they would have to take the bumper off. There are some pretty good body shops around here so I'll shop around. I was planning on repainting my bumper anyways.

I'm thinking dzus quarter turn fasteners for mine. I wouldn't mind it being molded in, but the reality is that the underside of my stock "plastic" bumper has A LOT of scarres under it after 50000 miles. I just don't feel confident that a fiberglass one is going to hold up to constant street use. Fiberglass is really pretty easy to repair. I'd much rather be able to easily remove it to do so when the time comes. Plus, being able to remove it in a few seconds means I might be inspired to do so rather than take a "chance" on a really steep driveway, etc. Just a thought.

Btw. Put me down for one.

True. True...Nothing worse than hoping honest people will stay that way!!! It sucks that I'll have to take the chance that the theft wont happen. Because I'm sure that it's only a matter of time before the "cracking" does... frown

I was supposed to get one the first time around, they were supposed to be ready a couple of months before I got married, but they were ready about week after that. Needless to say, I didn't buy one back then, but put me on the list now.
