Mesh Grille material can be found at hardware store or big place like home depot etc..
Search the aesthetic forum for instructions.

Fog lights try to find a pair of stock ones or pick up the highly regarded PIAA 510's. HTH

hey micah, couple of questions for ya......

i am guessing the tool is being made at the moment? just wondering about an update, how everything is goin and such and what a projected date would be to get the first bumpers off of the line?

also, i noticed you stop changing the order on the little list there.....is that the order you are goin by when sending out the bumpers? cause i remember you saying on 2 can be made in a day......i would like to take advantage of the fact that i paid before some people.....sorry if that is selfish, maybe it is just me.......

ok the bumper is being tested for tool making right now, there isnt a estimated time for the tool to be made, but I would say in 1 week or so maybe a little longer. sence there isnt an estimated time for the tool I cant say when the first bumper will be out. But this is what they have told me. there are more curves in it then they expected there for there is more plaining involved to make the tool also more cost that wasnt expected. the tool will be about a grand or 2 more then thought it was going to be. I am looking at ways to afford this. and they are helping me out more then they need too. Please be patient for they are working as hard as they can, So am I. They want to make sure the products that come out of the tool will be class A which is like how your bumper is now, so there will be very little work before painted. There are a couple of things people are going to need to make this bumper fit on the car. (1) in my case when I took of my orginal bumper 3 of the 4 bolts broke. I will give you the info on thoughs bolts break for you too. Also the bolts screw into a metal clamp like thing these go bad easily, I found replacements of them at napa. there are a total of 4 you will need, I got a bag of 12 for I think a buck. as far as the fog lights. We are working out the design of that. that is one of the hard parts on this tool. and I will let everyone know how it will turn out. I think everyone will have to do some custom work to get the fogs in, but shouldnt be bad, I will let everyone know about that when I find out. I am not worried about the fogs for me sence I will be using thoughs holes for cold air to the intake.

"also, i noticed you stop changing the order on the little list there.....is that the order you are goin by when sending out the bumpers? cause i remember you saying on 2 can be made in a day......i would like to take advantage of the fact that i paid before some people.....sorry if that is selfish, maybe it is just me......."

The bumpers will be made quicker then I thought, infact alot quicker. The guy I talk to said this. Once the tool is made it will take them about 1 day to make the first one. due to the fact of putting more pressure in some area's and so on. Once the first is made they will be able to knock out the rest within 2 days or so. these bumpers will ship to the people that give me the shipping money first. so it doesnt really matter when you paid and how quick you paid but more how quick you send your shipping money. I have to idea's as far as shipping. I like one more then the other. here are the 2 choices. (1)greyhound, the only prob with that is travel on my part. it is in burlington, vermont. I live in plattsburgh, New York. it is about 1hr trip. and depending on how many bumpers I can transport at a time. the other choice (2)Trucking, I found this to be not as bad as I thought. from here to florida the cost was $95 and would be there in 2 days. didnt think that was bad at all. I think the trucking will be quicker and safer for the bumper but might be a little more expensive. another thought if some are intrested in travel is to meet somewhere, this is if you dont live to far from me. if this works for some I can get a good price on painting it and all. I will let you guys know about shipping when we are at that point. right now we are checking every angle of this bumper to make sure we dont forget something in the tool. I know you guys cant wait But think of me I am driving my car with no front bumper and it will be like that till they start making them. I am waiting for this just as much, just want to make sure they are doing a good job on it and not half a$$.

Thanks for everyones patients. it will be a little bit longer, but it will be worth the wait, I PROMISE.

I have new news on the carbon fiber hoods for out year cars. How many of you are intrested in it?

Micah

thanks again for all of your hard work, but i would like to see the front bumper first and then make a decision on the rear bumper and hood. i am not doubting you at all, in fact, i am very greatful for all that you have done. i just want to see the work before i go any further. thank you.

What is the trucking company's Name? Just curious. Then maybe people can contact them for personal situations to get an estimate on shipping costs. Thanks laugh
