What is the current offset of our svt E1 rims? I believe they are 6.5 width.

The SVT Focus comes with 300MM Brakes up front and the Baer Kit requires just a 17" Rim.

SVT rims are either 49 or 52mm...the Focus SVT is designed with close to the same amount of offset as the Contour SVT

Is this a great deal? I am wondering how much they will cost when the car comes out? I am very interested though.
I figure I can sell the 16's to regain some of the cost.

Sure is! 16" Contour SVT wheels are $149 from tirerack... more than that from Ford.

BTW, as a sidenote - I found a great vendor to work with on making carbon fiber hoods... I'm doing a group deal right now for Escorts, they'll be going for $265 each. (oops, typo - that's $365)

Holy Sh!t Rob, CF hoods for real. for $265 I bet you could get 20 orders easy.

Lots of posting that people want em but we have never been able to get em made.
