Sorry Micah, but I must disagree. In the case of body parts, OEM is always better than aftermarket. Aftermarket body parts more often than not turn out to look like all the chessy body kits that kids install on their imports. It is simply a matter of production process refinement which is difficult to achieve at such a small level of output. Now this is my OPINION and you of course are entitled to yours, so lets leave it at that and not get into one of the pissing matches that this site is famous for.

In my post I dont remember saying anything about aftermarket is better. so let me clear this up for everyone. aftermarket isnt better, Plastic is better. how much better? thats up to the indivual. not the seller. all I was saying was the rear svt bumper that I will be making will not shatter or crack if it hits something, yes there is a breaking point just like any material and any bumper. is plastic woeth the extra money to get? up to the buyer. will it look like cheese. NO. it will look like a stock bumper, in fact it wont look like fiberglass just buy looking at it. only buy touch and feel of the backside would you realize it is fiberglass. By no means am I doing a pissing war, just trying to correct things you say that are not true, instead of being defensive do some research on the materials and then comment, it seems like the knowledge you have is from looking at $500 honda ground effects kits there is alot more to it then that.

Micah
