I got those retaining clips on the way. The part number I posted was wrong, here it is:

YS4Z-7K453-FA, called a "bearing" by Ford, actually the retaining clip (hopefully the metal one). Bill Jenkins CEG cost $5.28.

For those worried about breaking the retaining clip, here are a feww suggestions

Soak the clips while on the shifer in rubbing alcohol. It temporarily softens plastic without breakdown and will make the clip more flexible and less prone to breaking.

Or spray the clip with a spray lube. same effect.

Could also try warming up the plastic clip with a hairdryer.

Good luck and this mod should only take 30 minutes tops.
