Chris, I got a present in the mail. Thank you for doing this for us. It is really sweet. Took all of 15 minutes to install and shifts are much smoother. Also, is there a way to take the slack out of the actual cables for the linkage. I still have about 1/2 inch of slop in the cables I want to get rid of. Anyway Chris, on behalf of everyone in the group buy, thanks again. You have my business.

Your comments and support are much appreciated. Thanks.

As far as the slack, I have noticed that the slack occurs at the points where the cables connect to the tranny. There are adjusters at that end, but not for slack. Those plastic pieces tend to wear and that is where a lot of the play occurs. Maybe there is something there that I have overlooked.

You guys know what is the part number for that little plastic thingy that breakes and that people here keep saying to get a replacement before installing the shifter? I searched for that but couldn't come up with the part number. Thanks.
Still waiting here laugh

I searched too :p and found this PN:EDIT - WRONG PART SEE LATER POST. Supposed to be the metal replacement for the plastic clip. I am calling Bill Jenkins today, so if it turns out that the PN is different, I'll post here.

Most E0's are RJL1. Mine is - I stared at the PCM so much during the AFC install that is is etched in my memory.

Grab a 10mm (?) socket and climb under the glove box. Remove the plastic bracket on the PCM and there should be a little sticker on the rear cover.

Did our shifters show up yet? What day do you want to put them on? Maybe we can get an early start on the 30th and then show up to the meet with big old grins on our faces.
