Holy crap! When I went for a baseling dyno, they were quoting $150 for tuning? Realizing that everywhere is different would that be per pull? How many pulls to tune?

Tuning this device should not cost more than an hour or two of expert dyno time. Whoever got quoted $800 was being taken advantage of.

The dyno shop I've been to several times reckons it might take about an hour at $125 per to do it right.

I was quoted $250 for a tuned/customize burn chip, plus $100 for the dyno time, sounds like someone was quoted with the "Bring Your Own Vasoline" price.

Mine is tomorrow for a max of 110 for a full hour including tuning. 800 is the "we see you coming price" or they just didn't want to do it

You better be careful of screwing around with your fuel Kris, seeingas you have Zex Nitrous. Too lean and BOOM!
Iw would be VERY careful about using N2O and leaning it out as well, but if dyno tuned by someone who knows his stuff you should be ok.

Antonio - $800 is a joke. My buddy tuned his S-AFC in his Eclipse on the road. I drove he fiddled with the buttons. We dynoed it later on and got 37hp gain at the wheels!

my Zex is actually coming out, after having some dissapointing problems that are install related (lost pills, bad nozzle install, and bent lines) even though i like using it it is also way too expensive of a habit (75$ to fill the 10LB bottle, only place to get it in town)

so i will be selling it in prep for other power adders
