In an effort to prove my lack of knowledge here.... I have a near-stock E1, would this be a beneficial mod? After reading the info @ the link WorldTour [Mark] posted it looks like this is something that could be adjusted as mods were added (be it a pain in the butt). Would it really be worth putting on a non-turbo, non-supercharged car? I am also still under warranty, does the mounting of this thing allow to remove it for 'friendly' dealer visits and does it leave any traces of its existence? Sorry for the boneheaded questions. Basically I would be looking at this thing to get some more oomph, and allow for upgraded stuff as I near the end of my warranty. I appreciate your patience. *zip* flame suit on just in case.

I have a lot more info on this unit here: http://www.contour.org/cgi-ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=6&t=003467&p= It explains how to install it, and YES, you can install it so that it easily removable and you can revert back to stock without the dealer knowing any better. Look in the links to hte apexi sight for the wiring instructions. It shows you how to put bullet connectors on the MAF wire so that when you remove the S-AFC you can connect the stock wire back together so the car is "stock"

Even though the price is low you guys need to that the car will have to be dyno-tuned. That is where it gets expensive. I have a friend who purchused the unit for $400 over a year ago. She was quoted from $600-800 for a full dyno-tune, so the to price would have been around 1.2k!! So just know what you are getting into.
