Why do you think Ford didn't include a brace from SVT even? .[/QB]

Ford has begun using strut braces. If you look a at the mazda mp5 they come standard with a strut tower bar. Also the mitsubishi eclipse comes with a tower bar. None of them have attached to the strut from the factory. If it was a good idea they would have done it.

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

Thanks Redhawk for your comment after really seeing the STB from Random Technology. I would suggest to Seth Jacoby that there is a little more to building one of these correctly than just going to a machine shop. My car was used as a prototype by Randon Technology and it took six fittings to get everything just right and to construct jigs to be able to duplicate accuracy for each one of their STB's as they are hand made. It is the only company that I know that tell you the specifications of the steel that they use. Yes, it costs a little more than the $99 dollar one but it fits better, its stronger, it bolts on rather thaqn sel taping screws. It can be seen at my web site with several pictures and I just posted the complete installations from Random Technology on my site.

You can call it "junk" by simply looking at the design.

Hey Bradley,

I like the idea of bolts instead of tapping screws, but how do you fasten them? Don`t you have to remove the struts to access the bottom nuts? eek

I talked to SHO Shop yesterday. He said the strut brace was redesigned "redesigned" and will not result in any problems.

He said the old design was the one that was causing strut problems.

confused
