B&M fits fine with no modification on my E0.

Mine hits the base when shifting into 2nd and 4th, kinda like it, makes it feel like the Ferrari gated shifter. smile

Also, I know people that have NO problem with the shifters in their E0s, but they resetted the shifter position. There are two 'buttons' on the tranny with which you can center the shifter with. Might help, helped for some.
