sorry for the delayed reply, have been away for the entire weekend and friday.

Oo.et.oO - all mufflers are straight through, only difference is lenght and the loud ones also have a larger internal core. LBVSVT has a good summary on sound levels. At idle is is deeper in tone and slightly louder. When you stomp on it you will notice it much more, agree with the in between borla and bassani in loudness. NO RASP anywhere.
The prototype quiet system initially had a resonator which was later cut out and that is why you see unpainted pipe. all piping will be painted.

Derk2000- the pics shows our system is three pieces, the two rear muffler sections and the section from the cat to the y-split. Email me and we can discuss if we can do anything else.

Bigfishe - check our website later this week. We will be selling some individual components very soon.

The Brullen mufflers are all straight through designs. The difference is the internal packing material and the length of the muffler-this is what makes one quiet and the other loud. Also, the resonated tips will be slightly quieter than the DTM or non-resoanted style. There is NO rasp with this system (WITHOUT a resonator) due to the thicker SS pipe used. You WILL NOT be disappointed with this system.

Features of our intake-CNC machined billet aluminum MAF adapter with ram air taper bore, fully radiused entry lip for maximum flow c/w stainless hardware. Large diameter S&B powerstack filter in 5 or 6 inch. 5 in. is good to 215 flywheel HP. Working on a proper heat shield as we speak.

I'm interested, but I'd like to see some new photos of the final product before I get too excited (I agree the tips stick out too far on the proto.) I'd also like to see what the slash-cut tips look like. Do you have any images of them on your site? I only saw the Brullen signature tips.

Thanks smile

Matt

Silver Bullet,
How much does the PF system weigh compared to stock? Website says that the steel used is thicker than Borla, Bassini, etc. to combat raspiness. Just wondering about any weight gain. TIA

What's the count on the exhaust orders and discount? I'm working on the accountant (aka wife) to get this thing and any reduction in the cost would help me along.

Thanks

To answer the last few questions...

final count still below the 15, I will try and speak with Brullen to see if we can move the pricing at all with just 10 units.

I am still trying to get good sound clips, I think its the mic that sucks so I will try another one. anyone in the GTA have a good mic???

Weight - not sure the actual weight but it will only be marginally different from the other two systems. The brullen remember does not have a resonator. I think only the bassani is the same and the Borla has a res, yes/no?

I'm very interested in the brullen exhaust, but I want to hear some good quality sound clips.... The best way I have found to make them is with a portable mp3 player, but don't put it too close, or the sound will get distorted.

Is this GB still good? I can probably save the most because I can come pick it up.
