stan750rr,
Did you remove the seats from the car? also, how did you get the leather off of the butt area of the seat? The back I think I know how to do, kinda just pulls away, but the bottom?

yes you have to remove the seats. to remove the leather off of the seat pull on the black rubber/metal piece that runs around the edge down the bottom. To get the leather off the seat foam you have to cut the hog rings (round clips) that run down each side and across the center. then you have to put the seat heater in postion. when doing this make sure you start in the center with the really narrow part of the seatheater and push that down in the center groove of the seat. all of the heat pad must contact the cushion. take the seat to a shop that does interior work and ask them to put new hog rings on. Special tool is required to put them on.

Great, thx stan750rr. This install may be a little harder than I thought. But, its still not worth $250 installation charges.

I took some pics of the install, but they all came out looking like ****.
They wook great. At first I didnt think they were going to get hot enough, but after 5 minutes they were plenty hot.
My passenger one doesnt seem to bee working. But I didnt test it untill it was already warm in the car(went for a drive),I came home and turned the Passenger side on but it never got warm.Ill have to try it again tomarrow. If not I guess Ill have to do some probin! laugh
Oh and I put the switches next to the E-brake boot in that little blank area there just below the armrest lid.
