from what i gathered from my shop, my shop buys from gc, marks them up (barely) and sells them to me, thus i have to pay tax.
i'm not making out too badly - i voiced my displeasure about the tax situation to the manager and he knocked the deal back a little and gave me some free stuff. i'm basically paying the regular $419 + tax price. not to worry fellas, it's all good.
i will look into that though.
