I got them today. They are 15-1/2" long

Sorry I have been away. Busy at work. I still haven't had time to try again. I see someone said something about removing fender bolts. I don't know if that is the problem or not. Anyone can call me to discuss. 616-437-2737

Yea....I'm just going on memory here. But I think I remember seeing like say 3 bolts on the bottom lip (Where the fender meets) 1 or more of those might need to be removed or replaced with a lower profile bolt.

Also make sure you attach the hood end of the strut to the top bolt. That way the struts will have enough leverage to keep the hood up.

I hope you can get them installed...Can't wait to get mine. I just don't see what would keep them from fitting other than those bolts. And again...this is all from memory, I'll have to take a look tomorrow

Last night I was checking fitting of the lifters, and I believe they are a bit too long. If you use the top bolt of the hood (when is open) and the bolt on the fender lining up with the coolant reservoir's cap you wont be able to make it close all the way. Now, there are two bolts by the coolant reservoir and in between there is a hole which could be used. Right now these are my observations. But if if comes down to having to drill a hole then so be it. Anyone else have any other ideas?

The supplied self tapping bolt is too small of a diamter for the center unoccupied hole and almost falls through, actually the washer almost does.

Once it is fitted though, the strut will compact a little bit, so I am not too worried about the length.

Anyone have any luck getting them in?

I didn't install them, I "surveyed" the area with MadMole's directions in hand and realized something wasn't right. I'm off to take pics now, be back in a few.
