He wasn't trying to burn you Jeremy he was just saying that he doesn't know you well and giving you a large sum of money is one hell of a risk to take when we can't verify that you're trustworthy. That's not to say you're not, you're probably a really trustworhty guy but we are hesitant because others have been burned in group buys by people that were less than moral.
If you could give us a little more background as to how you are getting the deal you are getting and some way to contact you with issues, I'm sure that people will understand a little more.
Please try to look at it from our view, would you give 2k-4k to someone you have no background on? So try not to take offense to what we are discussing we are just trying to figure out how to go about this situation, it is not a personal attack on you by any means
Can you let us where you are getting such a good deal from? How would we be guaranteed that we will get our product? Can you give us a secure way to pay you or can you suggest a more secure way to go about this? If none of these questions can be answered I think you'll be hard pressed to find ten guys on this site to give you $300 a piece, I know I won't run into this situation unless a few of my fears are quelled.
So step up to bat here Jeremy, give us a little reassurance and I guarantee you we will be all over this!
