You are completely correct on IBM reliability. We have 200+ IBM machines at work with less than 1% failure rate over 2 years. That's amazing! Beats the crap out of our new Microns which had a 5% failure rate right out of the box. So I'll amend my last post to say, if you want hassle-free computing, an IBM is a good choice. However, I'm cheap and don't mind chasing down some PC bugs on my own.
