In fact "for SVT's" is irrelevant, except that they were produced in 1998 and beyond. There were differences in the spring perch and in the springs between the early and late 'Tours.
This does not pose a problem for me, since I plan to replace the springs as well as the struts. Late struts plus late springs will work on any year Contour, SVT or not. (In case anyone was wondering...)
