The SVT system will fit all duratec vehicles and will 99% most likely be a quasi dual. If non-SVT owners want a different system with just a single like the stock unit but with better breating capabilities, please let me know and I will have such a unit made. Only issue is having enough people interested in such a unit. Thanks for all the comments. I will post soon on what we are thinking of doing, I am going tuesday to prototype but will be evaluating options before then. Thanks. Originally posted by ssftn: How about us non SVT V6 owners?

I would be interested.
However, someone stated that they would drop 1K on an exhaust??? No way! I was hoping more in the $350-$400 dollar range.
Personally, I think the Bassani and Borla are a bit too much for 4-7 hp. That is why I am considering a custom system.
Keep us up to date...and for sure we need dyno numbers and a sound clip!!

Give us a price, dyno chart and a sound clip. The fact that you are getting these responses proves there is an interest. Whatever company this is might have to end up selling the system cheapier than the Borla or Bassani. The Borla is louder than the stock exhaust and the Bassani louder than the Borla. So I say come up with a comparable sound (I like the idea of having it sound like a BMW) with a better price.

Try to keep the price under $400. How's $350 sound? I think both the Borla and Bassani are overpriced.

Unless perhaps it is a single pipe/tip system. The system we are working on will be hand crafted and is high quality with welded seems along the mufflers and resonators and not the rolled seems like some manufacturers. We are also trying to make the systems somewhat flexible so that each individual can choose some parts of the system to suit there needs or tastes. Some parts will be standard but choice between mufflers, tip size and style, resonators, and perhaps no mufflers at all may be available. We recognize that most people do not want the exact same system that others want. Having said that, nothing is set in stone and we will not know until we start prototyping and seeing if we can build flexibility into the system or not. Will keep you all up to date, but thanks for all the replys and comments so far.

Not going to happen! Unless perhaps it is a single pipe/tip system. If it is not going to be less expensive than the Borla or Bassani...I will probably not be getting one. Why would I? Both of those systems are great. What will your system offer that is better than the Bassani or Borla. Or for that matter....a custom system. No disrespect intended...just being real. Patrick

pweizman, I understand what you are saying and I agree. But the bassani and the borla do not sell for the $350-400 the above mentioned hoped-for price. Would people be willing to be a similar price or slightly more for a system that is putting our more power than either of the mentioned systems and/or being able to chose whether to have the mufflers, no mufflers, resonators, no resonators (most likely deletions would cost less). Thanks for all the comments good or bad. Originally posted by pweizman: If it is not going to be less expensive than the Borla or Bassani...I will probably not be getting one.

As of right now, it is to my understanding that the prototype has yet to be made. Therefore it has yet to be dynoed. So you are merely crossing your fingers when you say it produces more power than the Borla or Bassani. Come back with some dyno charts and a price.
