It has all been said already. Replace the HU first and see how it sounds (Best thing you can do), then if you want to go nuts, add a sub. This is sufficient for nice sounds.
I just purchased my CSVT also for a daily driver. I love her so far!! Stereo system going in today. The stock is sub-par at best.
