I went to Bondurant this morning thinking that I could just pick up a few and be on my way. Wrong. They only carry apparel from OMP, no auto parts. I tried to get the guy to sell me some of the stuff off of their Rousch SVT's but no luck, it's all custom. Anyway I got the number to Driving Impressions in New Jersey. They carry the part and wanted 139.95 a piece for the fronts. I don't know who saw them for 99 but I need their number. The sales and marketing director is taking my proposal for a group buy into consideration and I am giving him a call tomorrow morning. I'll see what I can do but I can't see getting under 100. And XChang is right, they are only yellow.

I paid a buck and a quarter for mine two years ago. Only bright yeller. Had it painted body color at a piss-poor body shop, didn't want/need that bright yeller bar under the hood.

Here is the deal. Not only do we get a 20% discount on group buys( of 10 or more) but we also get 10% on any individual purchases that we make. I talked to Brent the sales and Marketing director who set up our account and he called it(not me) SVT Contour Group) Mention that and the discount applies. For a group buy we have to have the purchase happen on the same day and sent to one base as he put it and then shipped to the individuals. We need to find someone, preferably in Jersey who would be willing to help us out by shipping for us or else we pay for shipping twice on group purchases. Individuals will be shipped to you house. I will be getting a letter from OMP with the details from Brent himself and I will post it when I get it. Should be later this week. The price for front bars is 112 plus tax and shipping. I just called my company and they said it would be $99 shipped. This is the best that can be done and there is now group buys here, becuase the price is so cheap. Just call and order it, they have them in stock. Let me know what you guys think. I have already ordered mine.

Isn't OMPWINS.COM a great place? I have never had such good customer service than from that place. Product came in good shape too! Now the fun part, putting it on. Had to work my AC tubing around the master cylinder around to fit the brace on. But not to worry, once the brace was on, AC still worked!

So how much does this front bar weigh???? I think I'd rather have aluminum instead of steal. Steal is a little heavy. Anybody???

What about the rear strut bar??? I know Sho-Shop have one, but I recall it was a bit too expensive.
I know some people have made their own... some from other strut bars made for other cars, can you guys give us a how-to. Thanks.
