If you don't want to lie in the drive way and bang and curse the exhaust bolt gods, take the car down to a independant muffler shop and have them replace the studs and nuts that connect the cat to the cat-back. For 30 minutes of my time and $20, I figure it saved me a couple of hours of banging and brused knuckles.
I didn't seem to get any instructions, but one tip. They send an extra hanger. My SVT exhaust didn't have a hanger at the rear Y even though there is a hanger bracket there. The Borla does.
Put the hanger on the car first. It is impossible to get the hanger on the car if it is attached to the exhaust, and being a new hanger, it is nearly impossible to get it back off the exhaust pipe once you put it on.
