My 95 SE just turned 165K. It was running like a charm with the check engine light on for 2 years. The car has been very reliable and is still pretty much all original...or at least was. I have replaced both 02sensors, EGR valve, Mass Air Flow Sensor, and cleaned out every possible idle, throttle etc. The car idles from almost stalling as high as 2.5 then stalls. It will stall at every stop or slow coast. Any ideas? Does the computer have to be cleard and reset through FORD? IAC Valve??

I'd go ahead and reset the comp first. That helped with me bad idle/throttle surge. Sounds like it could be the IAC valve or maybe even the throttle position sensor (TPS) if you saying the RPM's rise when coming to a stop.

Might want to look into the TH fix as well. smile
