A friend at work is going to let me try to install the drivers seat from his wrecked '91 SHO (They've got the power options and are leather, and from what I've seen the leather is in great condition!) to test them. I don't have to buy them if I can't get them to fit or work, and I'd be buying the two front seats and the back bench seat for $250. Does anyone know offhand if these would have any chance of fitting, especially the power? (I'm sure I could splice the wire though) I have a 98.5 Zetec Contour. smile

Thanks!

The power is the least of your concerns. That can easily be spliced in.

Bracketry is gonna be a problem though! You might need to have access to some fabrication tools to make or modify the brackets... I doubt the bolt holes will line up at all.

As for the rear bench, I'm a little worried that the SHO is a wider car than the Contour inside... Might be a tight squeeze!

Whatever you do, make sure it's solid! Having the seat rip itself out of its mounts in an accident would be no good for your health!

Well, found out the back definitely won't fit. I'm going to try the front one today and see how it looks. If it looks goofy, then screw it, maybe I can find a couple of seats out of an SE Contour with leather and power? smile

Even if they're not powered, SE seats are great. Much easier to fit too! wink Try the junkyards... A Mystique interior would fit too..
