I spoke to Jeff Moss, owner at Velocity Sport about Roger H's group buys. Jeff confirmed that Roger is no longer their employee, inamicably. Jeff is very committed to following through on the Contour group buys, and asked me to post status here:

Borla Exhausts: The systems are ordered, and buyers' credit cards have been charged, as they are a special order item.

H&R Springs/Koni Shocks: Springs are in stock; shocks are somewhere on their way to Velocitysport from the mfr. as we spoke.

Ferodo Pads/Powerslot Rotors: The pads were ordered from Belgium about a month ago and that is the sticking point. Powerslot rotors for SVT are readily available from the supplier and will be shipped when the pads come in.

Based on several questions I asked Jeff about the potential for misuse of our credit card #'s in this situation, I don't think there should be any problem, and hope Mr. 3.0 isn't that stupid. As always, it's a good idea to look at your credit card bill every month for incorrect or unauthorized charges.

Just because I have moved on to bigger and better things doesn't mean I am a crook. I am insulted that you would think that I am out to rip you guys off. I set up these group buys to help everyone save some money, not to scam credit card numbers off people. I see hundreds of numbers from customers each week. Why would I use you guys to get credit card numbers? Besides breaking someones trust like that is a ****ty thing to do.

I got my H&R springs from Roger just fine. No problems. Yeah, it's a creepy feeling passing your # over the web, but as long as nothing bad happens to your account (I monitor mine over the web anytime I want 24/7) just be patient. It's the price we pay for a good deal. Now if Roger could just make me a deal on installation.

Roger, YOU stopped responding to people on 'your' 3 group buys over 3 weeks ago without bothering to say why on the forum. No one is accusing you of taking anything. As someone who HAS been ripped off to the tune of $375 via Internet in the past, it was natural for me to call your former employer and ask status on my rotor request. Hell, I phoned my credit card # to you at Velocitysport over 7 weeks ago.

To your credit, Jeff M. told me he encouraged you to start the group buys. I hope you do move on to bigger and better things. Being up front and following thru with people would sure have helped your reputation with me. Post any reply you like to this. I'm out of town all week and won't be checking back.

I just got off the phone with Craig of Velocity Sport! Our Borla's shipped today!!!

So, like, I don't how long it takes to get something from Cali to me (Michigan) but very soon we'll all have our nice new shiny exhausts!!

Jeff of Velocity Sport emailed me last night as well. I got my UPS tracking number from him! Scheduled delivery date for mine (which is coming to Michigan) is the 6th, this Friday! I'm sure you can get your tracking number too...though it was a bit tough for me to get in touch with those guys...but at least I finally did!

Also, if anyone is interested in a Borla cat back he has 2 extra. He didn't indicate whether he'd be selling them at the group buy price or not but it's worth checking in to!

Borla has arrived! Just got it like 10 minutes ago! Hope you all got yours as well!
