Shipping should be next to $0 for you fwhyte, check the link in the first post and e-mail Jack, he will quote you a price or tell you where to pick it up! He is in Cali too!

One problem I just noticed, the 2 part #s I gave him were for SVTs only. It says on Bassani's site that it will not fit non-svt tours. Check their site, www.bassani.com . you might check and e-mail him another part #, or take the risk it might not fit. This is going off of your sig, unless you have a SVT and it is not in your sig! You can e-mail me if you have any other questions.

Fwhyte,

I just saw a post on this topic in another forum. http://contour.org/forums/Forum2/HTML/001924.html

Check it out, it sounds like it would be easy to get it to fit!

I (formerly esvt) just ordered it. $555 shipped. Should be here in 2 weeks they said. 1 week to build, 1 week to ship. Good enough for me.

question...Are there Cat-back systems show & go? Or do they offer slight HP/TQ gains?
Is the Bassini THAT much louder than the Borla?

Has anyone who ordered during this group buy received their Bassani yet? The last time I contacted Muscle Motors they said they were having difficulty sending out the exhausts because UPS would not ship them. Has anyone else heard anything yet? I just emailed them again. Just getting anxious & a bit uneasy. Would appreciate any info.
Thx

Fern

I ordered mine just over 3 weeks ago and i also called last week and they said they were setting up a FedEx account. Every time i email them it takes a few days for them to respond and they haven't answered my last email. I called yesterday and kept getting an answered machine. I hope they get their stuff together 'cause i'd hate to cancel and get a refund. I'm also getting impatient.

I just talked to them (3/28 @ 1:15 CST) and they "say" they just finished setting up the FedEx account and they will be shipped out today. I'm in Texas, so he said i should be getting it by Monday or Tuesday. We'll see.

"question...Are there Cat-back systems show & go? Or do they offer slight HP/TQ gains? Is the Bassini THAT much louder than the Borla?"

WRECKA.
1 pre/post dyn series each for Borla & Bassini posted here. Summary:

Borla
Average HP gain 4-7K RPM--3.0 (peak gain 6)
Average T gain 2-4K RPM---7.5

Bassini (resonator tips out)
Average HP gain 4-7K RPM--6.5 (peak gain 7)
Average T gain 2-4K RPM---6.0

Bassini (resonator tips in)
Average HP gain 4-7K RPM--3.5 (peak gain7)
Average T gain 2-4K RPM---3.0

Bassini is a more open system as it lacks an inline resonator but is louder/deeper with droning at 2-4K RPM. Droning can be reduced with Dynomat in trunk & it now sounds nice. With resonator tips in it is much quieter, probably similar to Borla but 1/2 your power gains are lost. The ability to remove/replace the resonator tips is nice, can pull them to run at the track for max power or put them in for long trips, in lue of messing with Dynomat (I leave my tips out now).
