SVTFern: What is your question?
The difference between the 2 setups? Are you talking about stock vs. Koni's/eibachs or Koni's/Eibachs vs. Koni's/H&R's?
As far as I know the Koni's are much stiffer than the stock struts and are able to handle the lowering of the car by the springs. The koni's are adjustable. You can make them stiffer or softer (softer setting is still stiffer than stock). Eibach/H&R springs also tighten up the handling reducing body roll (car leaning thru the turns) and reducing nose dives (hard breaking, cars nose moves downward reducing controlability). The springs also lower the car. This gives the car a more aggressive stance and lowers the center of gravity. The closer the car is to the ground (acceptable lowering not excessive) the better the car will be able to handle fast turns.
The difference between the Eibach's and H&R's is that the H&R's are slightly stiffer than the Eibachs but have less give during normal driving (you gonna feel every bump and pothole). The H&R's lower the car .1" more in front and back and they are stiffer meaning better track handling. I hope this helps. I chose the Eibachs because I got lots of potholes on my route to work and I gots a wife who likes a comfortable ride.

Thx that helps out a lot. How much do these springs lower the car by (Both H&R and Eibach)? I am not looking for a "slammed" look. About a 1" inch drop would be good. Do you know if anyone has previously posted pics of their cars with this mod? If so can you post the link? Thx for the info!

Coors (a CEG member) designed it for me. Thats JVT's car. I was considering getting that done to my car but have since changed my mind.

ah. that's what i figured....it appears to be an impressively good photoshop job (i.e., not obviously photoshop at first glance - good job, coors!), so that's why i asked. the "paint job" looks good, in a flashy not-really-me kind of way...

I just emailed them for a quote and they told me that the price was $559 for the Koni's and $199 for the Eibach's. Does that mean they're not honoring it anymore??

Nord: You must call. The price is only good for those who call. You must mention that you are from Contour.org or you will not get the discounted price. They will not quote you those prices over e-mail. They are giving this to Contour.org members only
