Yeah, like someone said, I'm going to keep mine til it dies. I hope it'll take me through grad school, and when I'm done with that I'll get something to drive everyday and keep the SVT for a fun/project car. I'm going to try to get to 200k on that thing, I just hope it doesn't cost me as much as a house to do so.

I do like my 'tour, but it's seems like almost everyday I find something else that Ford has screwed up on. I guess that the car has been pretty reliable (never left me stranded anyway), but to name a few things: the clearcoat is coming off, my evaptorator core for the a/c just died (on a 5 year old car? that's a little soon if you ask me), I lost an O2 sensor the other day, etc.

Also, it's an ATX. My parents bought me the car, which I am quite thankful for, but I guess they didn't figure me for the car enthusiast type. I didn't either. But an automatic just doesn't lend itself to 'enthusiasm'. Nor does the 125hp of the Zetec.

The 'tour does have the advantage of the 'first-car glow', but I'd like to replace her. With what? Probably a BMW E36 325i or 325is.

Still enthusiastic, just spending all the extra money paying down bills and getting ejumaccated. Oh and on keeping the old Zetec going...Latest Mod replaced the idle tensioner pulley and belt=110 bucks(good thing I know how to work on them) milage 105,000

I voted and let me just add that I bought my car brand new on March 22, 2000 w/ 22 miles on it and as of today, the CSVT has 32,600+ and I still look forward to getting into it everyday laugh This has alot to do with all the mods I've done as well because theres always something new going on the car just when it gets a bit, dare I say "stagnet" confused

Let me ask this question..how many people don't respect the SVT after they have ridden in it?

...I'm still enthusiastic wink [/QB][/QUOTE]

The more I drive it, the less enthusiast I have become. Respect for the CSVT? why?

Part of my enthusiasm for my 'tour is the fact that few people are into them. I like convincing them of why they're good and why it's fun to have something different than all the civics runnin' around. By the way, I'm 100th to vote and 88th to vote yes.

I just spent too much money on painting the new body kit. I have to be enthusiastic about it!

Seriously, I love that car. It represents so much for me & Chris. I used to hate it. I was a CEG widow, but I realized that this is something that means so much to my husband. I may not ever fully understand it, but, I choose to love it so I can enjoy something that means so much to him. Plus it doesn't hurt that we have some awesome girls to hang out with in Dallas CEG!
