I admit that I have no idea what kind of exhaust you are trying to get a group buy on but I would like to know where I can go to get hook-ups for my '99 SE. All the actual stores around here (VA) have minimal modification parts. Maybe you or someone you know can help my find these mods. Thanks for your help.
If anyone else can help, please post it.

Hmmmm..hook ups? You want me to "hook you up" with parts? Is that what you mean? Or do you mean "tow hooks" like the one found on racing cars for towing? I'm not sure I know what a "hook-up" is. Could you tell me what it is? Sorry for the confusion
Thanks

I'm talking about air induction, power chips, lowering springs, exhaust systems, ect. Stuf to alteer the "factory" look and performance of my SE.
Thanks for replying.

baby doll, There aren't a lot of shops that are going to have contour performance parts. Most people here do mail order stuff from the list of retailers in the "links" section of this site. I have only personally bought stuff from Kurtz Kustom Motorsports (I don't have many mods yet) and have had good luck with them. Many of the places on there are very supportive of the 'tours and deserve our business. check them out.

Oh, and the exhaust we have the group buy going on is Bassani. Save 65 bucks with this group buy. Great way to start your modifications.

I really want this exhaust but having an SE makes it tough. Nothing more goofy looking than an exhaust that points down at a 45 degree angle.

Chris,
I know what you mean about the exhaust pointing downward because there is no factory exhaust pipe cut from the bumper. Do you know if this is difficult to get cut out?
Thanks,
BABY DOLL (my SE is only the 4 cyl. but a quick one at that!)

I'm not the person to ask with regards to pipe cutouts on a bumper. I haunt these threads alot and have yet to see a decent looking dual exhaust coming of the rear off a non-svt tour. That was a challenge to anybody else reading this post. With that exhaust problem, I've pretty much resinded myself to driving in stealth mode. I did replace my resonater with a glass pack and replaced the muffler with a dynomax turbo muffler. Put on a South County Autosports Cold Air Intake and what a sound I get now as I rev through the 4 to 7k rpm range. 3k worth of stereo gear installed and it's off just so I can hear the sounds. Only thing left to do is a new y-pipe/high flow cat. Then we move on to the suspension. Sometimes I get the feeling I should have bought a different car

Oh, and I forgot. A set of coated headers, if anybody EVER makes any in my lifetime.
