I'm going with a "live" oil pressure guage, and then an oil temp and tranny temp guage. That way if I ever switch to a quaife, I can hook up a tranny cooler and get a good idea of what range I'm running in (I hear they like to heat the tranny fluid up pretty quick).

Quick update. Here is the response to the questions I sent to the makers of the gauge pods.


Drake,

No problem with the revisions on the pod alignment.

The finish will be a leather-grained finish - very similar to the OEM
finish. Once colored to match, it is almost indistinquishable from the
original.

3 colors would be OK - but there must be an even distribution (i.e. 8/8/8 -
not 16/7/1). Black is always available, since that is the bare ABS color.\
You must provide us with a sample of each color so we can get it perfect.

The pods will come predrilled for 2" (52mm) gauges. The pods can be
enlarged to accomodate 60mm (HKS, Greddy) gauges - but the end customer
must do that themselves.

We would prefer to receive one check and a list of colors and ship-to
address so we can drop ship them.

ETA would be 3 to 6 weeks after we receive the pre-payment.

it originally fit the 300 z but it fit good enough for starters

The gauge pods are $44.99 including shipping and handling except for you Canadians, then the shipping is $5 US.
I sent a direct email out to those that gave me their email addresses.
I will be gathering the money so that we can place the order hopefully by the 26th or 27th of October. I have a list of 66 people who want the gauge pods. The numbers come out as 28 want blue, 13 want grey, and 23 want tan.

I just found out that I can only receive $500 through paypal unless I upgrade my status with them, (AKA. pay for the service). If you would still like to pay through paypal after the first 11 people the price will go up to $46.12. I am sorry I did not know about that. is the final design for 2 guage or 3?

The final design is a 3 gauge setup.
