Quick update. Here is the response to the questions I sent to the makers of the gauge pods.

No problem with the revisions on the pod alignment.
The finish will be a leather-grained finish - very similar to the OEM
finish. Once colored to match, it is almost indistinquishable from the
original.
3 colors would be OK - but there must be an even distribution (i.e. 8/8/8 -
not 16/7/1). Black is always available, since that is the bare ABS color.\
You must provide us with a sample of each color so we can get it perfect.
The pods will come predrilled for 2" (52mm) gauges. The pods can be
enlarged to accomodate 60mm (HKS, Greddy) gauges - but the end customer
must do that themselves.
We would prefer to receive one check and a list of colors and ship-to
address so we can drop ship them.
ETA would be 3 to 6 weeks after we receive the pre-payment.
