Are you still enthusiastic about your Contique? With all the people selling, I'm starting to wonder what our enthusiasm level is.

Still enthusiastic. If I had money, there'd be an SVT on the way to replace our ZX2. When I do eventually get a new car, it will most likely be a Mercury Mondeo or more likely, the Mazda 6. Gotta keep it in the family wink

Don't get me wrong, I still love my car, but the enthusiasm has faded somewhat. I guess it becomes harder to appreciate your car when NO ONE else does. It seems like when I tell someone about my car its like "A Contour???" I mean the other night some punk asked me if it was a real SVT and then he told me it had the same engine as his mom's Taurus (and no it wasn't an SHO either). I mean WTF?

Many times it is good to be underestimated.... "They never see ME comming" Al Pacino as the Devil in "The Devils advocate".

Let me ask this question..how many people don't respect the SVT after they have ridden in it?

...I'm still enthusiastic wink

Well, thats true.. But you can also say that the SVT engine, like the top Taurus engine are members of the Duratec family. Other members include the 240 HP Jaguar V6 in the S and X types.
