Just wanted to say thanks for the frequent information and postings, Chris. I've got a few dollars that are just raring to jump out of my pocket, if the price/performance of the y-pipe is right!

Chris, did I understand correctly that you will also offer a 2 1/4 inch (exit pipe size) Y pipe? This would be better (I think) for us you have Bassini or Borla catbacks that are 2 1/4 in.

Chris has being really good to work with, very informative and flexible and took the time to ensure all questions answered and that everything would get done to the highest quality. QUICK UPDATE, my SVT brought into the shop tonight (darn Explorer, I already miss the SVT, ) and they will start fitting the new pipe and checking its design over the next day or two to ensure everything is ok. I still have the stock exhaust on my SVT at 2.25" and even with the 2.5 exit, the flang should be able to accomadate the smaller diameter, Chris will be able to give you better details probably. I am not sure on the when I will have the dyno results, I have a road dyno kit that I just got so I will do a quick and dirty estimate b4 going to the dyno chassis and let everyone know by Friday how it feels. alessandro sILvER FROSt Originally posted by cawong11: Update: The new Y-pipe/High flow cat will be CTA Motorsports own and will be manufactured by a different shop, not SVTCONTOUR.com. Dan Dan If we can find a 2 into one cat with the 2 1/4" outlet, then yes. Otherwise, the 2 1/2"flange is only marginally bigger and will fit the 2 1/4" flange of the Bassini and Borla exhaust. In fact, I had the 2 1/2" flange tested on my SE when I still had stock 2" pipe and it fit the 2" flange. Chris

I or Alessandro will post the dyno numbers when we get them. Chris ------------------ 95 Contour SE (200HP all bolt ons)

This is a simple bolt on mod, right? No welding or anything else that would make it difficult?
If so, I'll take one!

Thanks Chris, Im a little concerned that the 1/4 inch smaller catback might cause some turbulance but maybe not a big deal. Any thoughts?

Dan Difference is very little. No worse than say the stock resonator in the SVT exhaust, which BTW has a 2" inlet and outlet, not 2 1/4" FYI. Chris
