TommySVT, Contour's don't have a easily accessible filter. The tranny is sandwiched together, and the filter is only changed when the tranny is taken apart or rebuilt

Just FYI, in case you happen to change tranny fluid one day and scratch your head looking for a filter!
Best way to flush it, btw, is to drain it, dump in your tranny fluid, drive it a few blocks, then park it, shift through ALL gears with your foot on the brake, then drain it. Repeat once more than fill it up and you're good to go. The tranny's have a screen, and draining/filling is the best way to flush out the fluid.
NEVER, NEVER get a flush/fill at a shop where they use a vacuum to suck it out of the torque converter. These will ruin our transmissions.
