okay if you dont already know my problem... I will explain first... The other day while en route to taking a drug test for my new job, I was driving along when I went to make a turn onto a side road, so I downshifted to 2nd and turned, but when I went to shift to third it wouldnt go. I decided to try 4th with no luck, go for third once more, and it seems the transmission locked up, couldnt move left-right, up-down at all, now I did cut my shifter down the night before, and of course (18) my mom blames it on that, but anyways, I finally get it back to neutral and try the gears.. well 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and reverse all work, third doesnt. So I was like I dont have the money to rebuild it now or anything, Ill drive it without third, did that for one day....
Go get in my car today to leave for work, and decided hell with it, Im going to try third for sh~ts and giggles, well I hold it up there and it starts to move forward, hmmmm.. so I pull out onto my lane go through the gears and now third works, maybe a bit stiffer but its working again. So now I would like to know, if Im just f'd in the head (not possible) if my tans, was just momentarilly GH3Y or if there may be a larger problem still with it. Or maybe I should just drive the car and hope to never see the problem again??? your opinions please.
