I believe that the reciprocality laws would protect your tint in this case. If one state's laws allow it, then simply driving through another state does not mean your car must meet all their laws. Basically, if the item in question is part of the car (Ie. exhaust, tint.) then they cant do anything about it. Radar detectors are another story, as they can be removed to make the car legal. I have the same problem here in CT with my car. My exhaust is a flowmaster muffler, thats it (cats are fixed too) and my tints are 20% (legal here is like 40%) I have been pulled over, and since my car is registered in OK they have to follow OK laws (which would mean my tint, and exhaust sound is legal, but obviously not the other 'fixes') So to answer your question, she might get flack for the tints, but if its legal in TN, then legally, your fine. They also can not make you get the car inspected in PA. Just make sure everything is perfectly in line; up to date insurance cards, tags within experation dates, etc. This will prevent them for being able to actually bust her for something. -Nick
