The Carlisle Events people were b**ching and moaning about the Contour SVT's being with the Contours as well, and the ZX2's being up there with the Contour SVT's. Turns out the lady in Registration didn't put us down as Contour/Contour SVT/ZX2, but Contour SVT/ZX2, and when we came in no one asked us if we were an SVT, they just put us down as the Contour SVT class (G-17). We also had a Tempo chillin' with us, the same one apparently that cheated last year
It was a 1990 Tempo, grey, and a poster on the engine that said "All original!" I guess if a Tempo could run that long and not need a new engine or tranny, and a good helping of Bondo, maybe it is something to be proud of. :rolleyes:
It was a great two days, and I'm anxious to go back next year when I have all my new mods!
