It's true. In Oregon you are not allowed to pump your own gas. Perhaps that has something to do with why we have some of the highest prices for gas in the nation (about 1.50/gallon for regular, a lot more in large cities). It has its perks like not having to get out the car, but I still wouldn't mind doing it myself.
