I like Chevron gas. I did a little research a while back and found that their Techron additive works suprisingly well at keeping intake valves clear of carbon build up. Chevron also sells the Techron additive in a bottle like STP. I've seen it at Wal Mart. You don't see Texaco selling their Clean System3 like this or Exxon selling their addive seperately. I drool when I hear you East Coast guys talk about filling up with Sunoco Ultra 94 at the pump!  My Vortech blown Mustang needs all the octane it can get during the sweltering humid South Louisiana summers down here. I've got to really pull out the timing and run it rich to avoid detonation. The heat soak in stop-and-go traffic sucks. My Auto Meter Intake Temp gauge has gone to 180deg during extended idling in traffic.
