I was going a little too fast around a couple of corners, can't really remember how fast exactly, but I was in fourth and the rpms were over 4k I think. I believe I was approaching 70? The car did a 180 and I slammed into an embankment. I didn't think it did that much damage b/c I walked away and the impact was taken flush along the whole passenger side of the car and no windows broke. However, talking to the body shop I found out that I broke the front transaxle and pushed the rear tire up under the trunk. They weren't done calculating damage and they were up to $9,200 w/o rims and stereo equip (which my ins carrier will cover). I'm waiting on a total but I guess I should just look up fair market value to see how much I'll be getting and how much I'll owe.
