My best friends words after I wrecked my car yesterday: "Dude, you need airbags in the OUTSIDE of your car. Your new song is 'The Wall' by Pink Floyd." Then he sings, "...all in all, you're just another brick in the wall..." (I hit a wall.)
Well, the car's totalled, I've already sent out ten emails and PM's on '98 to '99 'tours in black/blue trim.
My question is, anyone have any other suggestions as to what to get to replace? I'm getting ready to buy a house and I'm a little under on my SVT. frown
Oh, before the body shop was even done they had estimated damage at around $9,200. Not to include $2000 stereo and $1000 rims. Which my insurance company will cover.
Specifics of the wreck? I hurt all over. Yes, I was driving like a moron. Single car accy, though, I was EXTREMELY lucky. (But that does not detract from my stupidity.)

Very, very little. Maybe two rims and a sub. Possibly the amp if the electronics did not take too much of an impact.

WOW, what a surprise. Sorry to hear about that man! Like everyone said, although it doesn't really help to hear it but you did walk away! A car I've been giving serious thought to picking up is the new Sentra SE-R Spec V, sticker price around 18K, if you're willing to spread that out over 5 yrs or lease the monthly payment should be pretty low. You also have to deal with the bright pink seats that come standard in the Spec V. laugh

Totally sucks dude! I know the feeling, I swerved to avoid Bambi and totalled my Black E0.

I replaced her with another SVT. Plenty of them out there for sale. I know a Green one here that WAS for Sale, not sure if it still is though but it was in excellent shape.

Sentra SE-R, Altima ($$), New Protege MP3 (weak but fantastic handler), SVT Focus, RSX, Celica, blah blah blah - many choices. I'm losing touch with the 4 Wheeled World lately though. laugh smile

Good luck homie.

Thanks guys. I've emailed several SVT's for sale. One has a vortec another has the 3.0. I might try to get my hands on the 3.0. Not that I need more power (obviously) but it was something I had planned for mine anyway.
My g/f and I are going to see what exactly is salvageable off the car tonight. Hopefully I can get the HU, amp, sub, two rims (Konig Imagines, sorry stan750, if you want two konigs, let me know, I still have all four original rims in my basement, if I get another 98 you're welcome to give me an offer, if I get a 98.5, I may keep them as a keepsake.) and my Jacobs. I have a feeling that that will be it. I have doubts on the HU (6 disc in dash changer, doubt it could handle the impact) and amp. Sensitive electronics.
As you can tell, I might not be making any meets soon. I'm only making it to work by car pooling w/ my friend. PA3L, PM me about your shifter. frown
