I've heard that if you can clearly read newspaper print through them then your ok. My Linc. is way dark and I haven't had any prob yet. Allthough it stands out so much that I'm just hoping that they don't notice the tint.
When I tinted mine I had them put the one grade up from limo black in the back and the next grade up in the front. You can see in the car in the daylight, not easily, but enough that you can see what I'm doing. State cop buddie always rides me about the tint but said he does not make people strip them down as long as they are decient to him.
