Damn! I almost completely forgot about them! How'd it work out? How's it running now? You get the rest of the exhaust done too? As you can tell, I've been out of the game for a while. Originally posted by Chris Arslanyan: Sal, if you come on out, I can show you the headers, fully installed!

Well, apart from taking 3 weeks to get installed, it runs great! The Roush headers don't mate up to the OE y-pipe, so I had to find a shop that would make an extension, what a hassle that was. Next, the header heat shield hit one of the OE oil cooler coolant clamps, thus causing my baby to blled coolant. Well, 10 days later, I got high pressure hoses and fire shielding and new clamps. Then, I found I had a smallish exhaust leak, had to remove the alternator brackets to get at a bolt. LAst but not least, I had to hunt down a 13mm crow's foot to tighten the bolt nearest the dipstick! Phew! The car runs better than ever, the idle is rock solid at 800rpm and the car just pulls nicer. I'm putting down 179.8/156 compared to 166.6/149.1. I am very happy, and it was a worthwhile mod. Thanks again Sal!

Geezus dude! I'm glad you did it and not me. I never would've had the time or money to do it! But I'm glad it worked out and I'm glad I gave them to someone who could make it work. Of course now you have some individuality - I don't think many people can say they have Rousch Headers in their SVT. The HP is impressive! But what happened to the Torque dude? Put my MTX-75 into the trunk of wife's Olds POS and drove it to meet with 3.0L engine (fully assembled sans oil pan) this afternoon. Might get the car back on Saturday, otherwise it's not until next Wednesday that I can get "Lazarus" out of the shop. I'll be willing to drive to Denver, CO once I get my car back. Count me in for whenever.

Hee hee, I get my car back on Tuesday for sure. I'll be doing lots of driving (to break it in of course ). US 202 South into West Chester is a pretty open road - I'll have to make it one of my routes. How's it for cops? I just made dinner plans with an old friend for Sept 15. To get the ball rolling more, I'm going to throw a date out. How is everybody for Sept 8?
