Sweet ride oilman... every SVT I see makes me so envious... the funny thing is that the kid I was with never saw a SVT before in his life and he was even more crazy about it than I was!! I suggested to him the SVT Contour before when he was talking about getting a car but I don't think he seriously considered it until he saw one.

I'm still trying to figure out who is the silver SVT with NJ plates and a USA sticker on the rear bumper that I saw on Rt 202, and 611 about a month ago.
About a month ago I chatted with a black SVT with DARE plates. Cool driver but seemed like he was in a hurry to get somewhere.
Also spotted 3 SVTs (1 black, one green and one red) racing south on 611 near the Target north of Willowgrove.
I've also bumped into a black SVT (and upon some small talk with the driver) only to find out that he swapped out the performance tires for standard passenger tires.
2 weeks ago I spotted a silver SVT in the Whitehall, PA area. Near the Lehigh Valley Mall.
At the begining of this week I bumped into another black SVT on 611 near Doylestown, much cooler driver this time (programmer from RIT working just south of Doylestown on 611).
That same evening in downtown Doylestown (611 again - seeing a trend here?) I tooted at a red/tan SVT with a driver who looked like he noticed why I was tooting at him.
And today, while I was at work I visited one of our other buildings and noticed a black SVT with the front end that looked a little nicked up sitting in a parking lot for VerticalNet.
So guys with all these sightings I've been seeing lately - does anyone know any of these people or should I start recruiting them before the snow comes so we can have a get together?

Boys, Boys, Boys!! Honestly!! None of you must have never pulled up next to me on the street. I'll race anyone, I'm not afraid. My dad taught me very well and not to be intimated by the boys. I have a 1999 Silver SVT, with a wing and tinted windows, and a PA plate that reads "QUK SLVR". I was in the Whitehall area the day someone said they say a SVT sighting. It was definately me. I am so glad I have other SVT cronies out there that share a love for this unique car. I do a have a question - where were all of you the weekend on June 23&24?? Maplegrove raceway in Reading PA ws having the Ford Nationals, and not one other contour was present?? The Taurus SHO people had a field day with me and shared great joy that I was loner. I need to get on this inside track and be a part of your clique!!

Sweet Bike!!!! I can imagine the rush you must get from that piece of machinery!  I love the look of sport bikes and used to ride a Katana, but, I now ride a Harley Fatboy. I can't come play tonight, I am swamped with work and will be until about 2 am. If I see you out in that cool silver car, I'll be sure to beep, probably for the same reasons my girlfriends have been beeping......

She's slowly getting beat up, which is ok. She's slowly turning into my track beast anyway. I'm hoping to pick up an Aprille RSV Mille (the same one that Zipster dude has on that page) next year - but with the way I'm spending money - that might not happen. Once you start sliding your knees, lighting up the rear out of turns, and lifting it under breaking - you never look at cars again.
